Serves: 12-16 truffles



250g vegan chocolate

2 tbsp Vita Coco coconut oil

150ml full fat coconut milk

4 tbsp cacao powder




  1. Break up the chocolate and add to a microwave-safe bowl with the coconut oil.
  2. Gently heat until melted, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir through the coconut milk until combined.
  4. Chill the mixture in the freezer for 20-30 minutes or in the fridge for 1-2 hours, until mostly firm.
  5. Place the cacao powder in a shallow dish.
  6. Use an ice cream scoop out 1 tbsp of mixture. Roll into a ball between your palms and then roll in the cacao powder.
  7. Set aside and repeat.
  8. Store in the fridge and allow to warm a little before serving.
